v = (theta % a) / a * ((r + c/2) % c) / c
...where v is color intensity, % is fractional modulo, a is the number of degrees between spokes (60 here), and c is the radius between repeating sections (or something like that). Then make one for each color (red, green, and blue here) and put them with different centers for r/theta and so on.
Mixed opinions on this one... I think it needs an actual color scheme, and it's kinda messy.
